TV bounty hunter Duane “Dog” Chapman is preparing a return to the airwaves.
The Chapman family confirmed that filming will resume on the A&E show “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” which features Chapman and crew in pursuit of bail jumpers in Hawaii and other states. No return date was announced.
It was the highest-rated show on A&E before the network pulled it in November; Chapman was heard in a taped phone conversation using a racial slur in reference to his son’s black girlfriend.
Britney Spears reunited briefly with her sons Saturday, spending three hours with the boys two months after the troubled star last saw them.
Spears’ father, James, played a key part in arranging the visit with Jayden James, 1, and Sean Preston, 2, said Elliot Mintz, a spokesman for Spears’ ex, Kevin Federline.
Mintz wouldn’t say where the reunion took place or who else was there; People magazine reported that Spears’ psychiatrist was present.
Rihanna is helping a New York leukemia patient in need of a bone marrow donor.
The singer, 20, is working with DKMS, a donor network in Tubingen, Germany, to find a donor for Lisa Gershowitz Flynn, People magazine reported.
“When I heard about Lisa’s plight, my heart broke,” Rihanna said.
Flynn, a 41-year-old mother of two, was diagnosed in November with acute myelogenous leukemia, a cancer of the blood and bone marrow. She said she was stunned by the singer’s efforts on her behalf.
Whoopi Goldberg seemed sad and choked up Monday on “The View” when her co-hosts discussed how she was not included in a montage featuring Oscar hosts during the Academy Awards telecast.
Goldberg, 52, won for her role as Oda Mae Brown in 1990’s “Ghost.” She hosted in 1994, 1996, 1999 and 2002.
Goldberg appeared stumped that the academy would leave her out of the one clip, as well as repeat host Steve Martin.
“Maybe they accidentally lost a clip of you hosting. ... But I think it’s wrong,” Elisabeth Hasselbeck said.
