Felony report

The following people were recently booked into the Allen County Lockup on felony charges – either on preliminary charges after arrest or after being transported from another facility – or were formally charged with a felony in Allen County. Misdemeanor charges are also listed if the person is charged with a felony.

Cody Thompson, 30, of Woodburn, was booked into the lockup at 10:05 a.m. Monday on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was released on his own recognizance.

Ryan Gillespie, 19, of the 100 block of West Leith Street, was booked into the lockup at 10:28 a.m. Monday on a charge of receiving stolen auto parts. He was being held in lieu of $2,500 bail.

Denise High, 45, of New Castle, was booked into the lockup at 11:15 a.m. Monday for failing to appear on a theft charge. She was being held without bail.

Mitchell Price, 45, of Huntertown, was booked into the lockup at 11:58 a.m. Monday on a charge of sexual misconduct with a minor. He was being held in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Joe Shaw, 31, of the 6300 block of Winter Street, was charged Monday with attempted check fraud. He was being held in lieu of $2,500 bail.

Russell Hill, 23, of the 2900 block of Reed Street, was charged Monday with invasion of privacy and possession of marijuana. He was being held in lieu of $3,250 bail.

Luther Hardy, 52, of the 6700 block of John Street, was charged Monday with operating a vehicle after a lifetime suspension. He was released on his own recognizance.

Paul Prater, 43, of the 3300 block of Broadway, was charged Monday with receiving stolen property. He was being held in lieu of $2,500 bail.

Marcus Payne, 34, of the 2800 block of Hoagland Avenue, was booked into the lockup at 3:44 p.m. Monday on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and being a habitual traffic violator. He was released on his own recognizance.

Rory Murphy, 22, of the 3600 block of Rockwood Drive, was booked into the lockup at 4:17 p.m. Monday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. He was being held without bail.

Maurice Ross, 32, of the 4400 block of Bowser Avenue, was booked into the lockup at 6:04 p.m. Monday on charges of cocaine possession, possession of a controlled substance and driving while suspended. He was being held in lieu of $5,000 bail.

Andrew Dickerman, 22, of Churubusco, was booked into the lockup at 6:27 p.m. Monday on charges of forgery and receiving stolen property. He was released on his own recognizance.

Robert Henry, 44, of the 2000 block of Hensch Street, was booked into the lockup at 10:36 p.m. Monday on charges of criminal recklessness, driving while suspended, resisting law enforcement, two counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and two counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing serious bodily injury. He was being held in lieu of $17,250 bail.

Brian Stone, 32, of the 6500 block of Lampwick Lane, was booked into the lockup at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. He was being held in lieu of $2,500 bail.

Aarron Suggs, 19, of the 400 block of West Pontiac Street, was booked into the lockup at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday on a theft charge. He was released on his own recognizance.

Aratee Tanner, 36, of the 2100 block of Roy Street, was booked into the lockup at 1 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of maintaining a common nuisance. She was being held in lieu of $2,500 bail.

David Scruggs, 44, of the 5400 block of Lois Lane, was booked into the lockup at 1:10 p.m. Tuesday on a burglary charge. He was being held in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Joshua Bruner, 18, of the 4400 block of Leesburg Road, was booked into the lockup at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday on charges of auto theft and resisting law enforcement. He was being held in lieu of $5,000 bail.

Charles Allen, 23, of the 1000 block of Coliseum Boulevard North, was booked into the lockup at 1:38 p.m. Tuesday on charges of auto theft, receiving stolen property and resisting law enforcement. He was being held in lieu of $5,750 bail.

Vidal Gray, 32, of Indianapolis, was booked into the lockup at 2:55 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of being a habitual traffic violator. He was being held without bail.

Matthew Dominguez, 39, was booked into the lockup at 3 p.m. Tuesday on a burglary charge. He was being held without bail.

Daniel Tippmann, 24, of New Haven, was booked into the lockup at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday on charges of possession of cocaine and possession of a controlled substance. He was released on his own recognizance.

Bernabe Ramirez, 41, of the 800 block of Ventura Lane, was charged Tuesday with criminal recklessness, pointing a firearm and invasion of privacy. He was being held in lieu of $7,500 bail.

Brandon Phillips, 20, of the 2100 block of Hobson Road, was booked into the lockup at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday on charges of burglary and receiving stolen property. He was being held without bail.

Christopher Smith, 25, of the 800 block of Prestwick Square Drive, was booked into the lockup at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday on charges of carrying a handgun without a license and two counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was released on his own recognizance.

Demetris King, 45, of the 7500 block of Ideal Avenue, was booked into the lockup at 5 p.m. Tuesday on a charge of invasion of privacy. He was being held without bail.
