ND, NBC To Extend Contract

Notre Dame and NBC have extended its long-standing television contract to 2015, both the school and the network announced Thursday.

A noon news conference is scheduled to release the details, but in the school's release, it said NBC will televise seven Notre Dame home games per year plus one off-site game.

The deal is a five-year extension to the current agreement. NBC began televising Notre Dame football games in 1991. This is the fourth extension of the contract.
