No Rockford Peaches here, but watching this video -- go ahead, click on it -- reminds us of the movie "A League of Their Own." The grainy footage. The odd stretching drills (Hey, maybe Ruben Mendoza could learn from this). The mass of players punting footballs and pushing wood.
It advertises itself as footage from Notre Dame's spring practice in 1935. Except for one problem: The four players the voice lists aren't in the Notre Dame media guide as letter winners. And they aren't on the 1935 roster that is in the 2002 media guide, which has actual stars like Bill Shakespeare.
So beware Notre Dame football fans. This video -- at least the voice -- could very well be fake.
