2 held in meth lab raid
A man and a woman were charged Tuesday in connection with what police said was a meth lab in rural LaGrange County, and a third suspect might face charges.
Sheriff’s deputies and a state trooper went to a home in the 4200 block of East County Road 200 South early Tuesday, following up on information about possible drug production, a state police report said. The report said three people ran from the home and were caught moments later.
During a search of the home and a shed, police said numerous items were seized, including methamphetamine and items that can be used to make it.
<*>Joshua S. Cleveland, 30, of Wolcottville, was charged with dealing in a controlled substance, possession of two or more precursors and maintaining a common nuisance, all felonies.
<*>Amanda A. Elliott, 34, of Syracuse, was charged with dealing in a controlled substance, possession of two or more precursors, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of methamphetamine, all felonies.
They were taken to the LaGrange County Jail.
