ND-UNC: End Third. Clausen's Streak Over
By Michael Rothstein
The Journal Gazette
Jimmy Clausen had thrown 131 passes without an interception.
On No. 132, the first play of the second half, that all went away. Sophomore linebacker Quan Sturdivant picked off Clausen and returned it 32 yards for a touchdown.
The streak was the second longest in Notre Dame history, behind Brady Quinn -- who went 226 without a pick.
Notre Dame leads 24-22 right now, but the Tar Heels are in the red zone right now.
