What Happens In Press Conferences

It has now appeared on YouTube, and although ASAP Sports took it out of the official Saturday transcript, it's worth mentioning here on Insights, especially since one of those involved here is, well, me. For those who don't know, I went to Syracuse. It's a fact that Charlie Weis is aware of as are most of the other people on the Notre Dame beat. I do not root for Syracuse. I do not really care what happens to the Orange (although the removal of -men and -women from the nickname is still worrisome and embarrassing. An Orange? Really? At least Cornell is the Big Red and Dartmouth is the Big Green.), especially when it comes to the neutrality of my job.

Still, when an alma mater is in question, there is always good-natured ribbing, which happened at Tuesday's press conference. Watch the video to the right for the good laughs, although I'd like to clear up I wasn't the one asking the questions which set up the nice jab from Insights friend Brian Hamilton.
