November.
That normally sums up a month that rarely provides enjoyable weather. Though that could be true again this year, I think we will happily leave October behind and take our chances with November.
In addition to the cold air that dominated the first half of October, rain totals topped 5 inches throughout the area, twice the normal monthly average, making October the third-wettest month of the year.
Weather wise: Two days in October (15th and 24th) set Fort Wayne records for the wettest days on those respective dates. Only one other year this decade (2001) even had one day of such distinction.
