Irish men to play last exhibition game
The Notre Dame mens basketball team will play its final exhibition game at 7:30 tonight when it plays host to Quincy. The Irish opened exhibition play with a 70-54 win over Lewis in the renovated Purcell Pavilion.
Notre Dame coach Mike Brey said he will also use the final exhibition game to to get the players who surround mainstays Luke Harangody and Tory Jackson more comfortable in their roles. Notre Dame opens regular-season play at home against North Florida at 2 p.m. Nov. 14.
Brey said the team is still searching for an identity.
We are going to change a lot, and that is where we are different (from last season), Brey said.
