Bishop Dwenger continues to roll.

The Class 4A second-ranked Saints didn’t allow a point for the sixth consecutive week, shutting out Columbia City 56-0, to win their fourth consecutive sectional championship Friday.

Remound Wright rushed for 193 yards and five touchdowns on 17 carries to spark Dwenger.

Quarterback Wade Markley completed 8 of 17 passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 58 yards on six carries.

Landon Feichter capped the scoring with a 60-yard punt return for a touchdown in the third quarter.

Dwenger (12-0) outscored its opponents, 138-0, in three sectional games.

The Saints will play No. 5 Delta (12-0) in the regional next week.

Class 2A

FAIRFIELD 28, BREMEN 27: The Falcons won the first sectional championship in school history with the close win over the Lions.

Tanner Foust got two touchdowns, including the game-winner in the fourth quarter.

The Falcons trailed 14-0 in the first quarter.

Fairfield (10-2) is at Rensselaer Central (10-2) next Friday for the regional.

Class A

SOUTHERN WELLS 17, SOUTHWOOD 3: The visiting No. 8 Raiders won their second consecutive sectional title sparked by 282 rushing yards.

Tyler Roush’s 132 yards and one touchdown led Southern Wells (10-2). Jacob Miller added 83 yards and a TD.

Chase Enyeart’s 30-yard field goal in the first quarter gave Southwood (6-6) a 3-0 lead.

During its eight-game winning streak, the Raiders have allowed opponents to reach double figures in points twice. Southern Wells will play at Knightstown (9-3) in the regional next week.
