At least East Noble beat Imani Freeman. Not by much, though.

Freeman, a senior starting guard for North Side, was the finger in the Knights’ eye all night Friday, scoring 31 points. That was just nine fewer than the Knights as a team as the Redskins ran off to a 58-40 win at North Side.

Chanese Birchfield added 12 for North.

Ashlie Placencia scored 20 of East Noble’s 40 to lead the Knights.

JAY COUNTY 49, BELLMONT 28: The Patriots vaulted to a 16-5 lead after a quarter and never looked back at Bellmont. Bellmont short just 28.9 percent (11 of 38) and had no double-figure scorers.

OAK HILL 54, HUNTINGTON NORTH 49: Courtney Moses scored 40 of Oak Hill’s total, and the Eagles outscored Huntington North 30-24 across the middle two quarters at Huntington.

The Vikings were led by Leisl Davenport with 11 points and Taylor Foley with 10.

MARION 50, NORTHROP 40: The Bruins led 22-18 at the half but were outscored 32-18 by the Giants in the second half at Northrop.

Janelle Morr led Northrop with 13.

ADAMS CENTRAL 44, BLACKHAWK CHRISTIAN 31: Kirstie Andrews scored 12 and Michelle Ripley 10 to lead the Flying Jets at Adams Central.

NORWELL 86, BLUFFTON 29: The second-ranked Knights led 42-13 at halftime and 67-18 after three quarters at Norwell.

Jessica Rupright scored 23 points, and three other players hit double figures for Norwell.
