Eifert propels Saints’ rally

Tyler Eifert scored 17 points to lead Bishop Dwenger to a come-from-behind 64-61 win over visiting Leo in a boys’ basketball game Wednesday.

Dwenger trailed 47-41 after the third quarter, but the Saints rallied in the fourth, led by junior Landon Feichter’s six points. Leo sophomore Luke Pepple led all scorers with 18 points.

SNIDER 59, CARROLL 52: Reggie Hearn scored 17 points to lead the host Panthers.

HOMESTEAD 69, ELMHURST 65, OT: Zach Terrell had 23 points, eight rebounds and four assists to lead the host Spartans.

Gymnastics

CARROLL TRI-MEET: Caitlin Radke won the all-around title with 38.25 points.

HERITAGE 82.7, NORTH SIDE 72.7: North Side’s Julia Roberts won the all-around title (30.45).

Hockey

CARROLL 6, HOMESTEAD 3: Kris Heffelfinger had a hat trick to lead the Chargers to the win in the semifinals of the city tournament. Mike McBane added two goals for Carroll.

SNIDER 1, NORTH SIDE 0: Colin Hinton scored in overtime to lift the Panthers. Luke Richardson had 19 saves for Snider. Aaron Hopkins had 17 saves for North Side.
