Witnesses sought in LaGrange road incident

The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s help in a possible attempted abduction, car-jacking or road-rage incident Thursday afternoon in Lima Township.

An 18-year-old woman from Howe was driving north on County Road 100 East when she stopped at the intersection with County Road 700 North and a light blue pickup truck pulled up next to her with two white males.

The pickup driver got out and tried to get into her vehicle on the passenger side. She got away and called police.

The woman reported seeing at least one other motorist in the area.
