AT THE LIBRARY:

•The Pontiac branch, 2215 S. Hanna St., has “Sit and Stitch” for beginners at 4:30 p.m. every Thursday and “Sit and Stitch II” for the more advanced knitters at 6 p.m. every Tuesday.

•The Hessen Cassel branch, 3030 Paulding Road, will be having students in grades 1 to 5 doing “Crafty Recycling” at 4 p.m. Wednesday as part of its “Afterschool Adventure.”

•The Woodburn branch, 4701 Indiana 101 North, has a “Yarn Lovers’ Gathering” at 7 p.m. every Thursday.

•The Huntington City-Township Public Library, 200 W. Market St., Huntington, will host local author Carolyn Morris at 6:30 p.m. Monday as she discusses her family memoir, “The Journey, The Dreams, and AnnaBelle.”

AUDITIONS:

•The Fort Wayne TinCaps are looking for individuals, groups or instrumentalists to perform the national anthem at home games. To schedule an audition, call 407-2812.

•Pulse Opera House, 127 N. Wayne St., Warren, will be having auditions at 2 p.m. May 17 for its musical production of “The Wizard of Oz.” Call 375-7017 for information.

•The Firehouse Theater, 1245 E. State Blvd., will be having auditions from 2 to 4 p.m. May 17 for its musical production of “Good Grief! Charlie Brown.” Call 750-8308 for information.

FORT WAYNE PHOTOGRAPHERS CLUB MEETING: The meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Towne House Retirement Community, 2209 St. Joe Center Road. The meeting will also include the digital and slide image competition. For information, go to www.fwphotoclub.com.
