WASHINGTON - President Obama's first fundraiser for Democratic candidates will be in Indianapolis May 17.
He will help raise money for four Hoosier Democratic congressmen. Earlier in the day, Obama will deliver the commencement address at the University of Notre Dame.
In his first 100 days in office, Obama has visited 12 states, including a stop in Elkhart. Nine of the 12 are swing states, including Indiana, which gave Obama a narrow victory.
Obama will appear at the Indianapolis fundraiser for Reps. Joe Donnelly, D-2nd; Brad Ellsworth, D-8th, Baron Hill, D-9th; and Andre Carson, D-7th.
