Three people implicated in more than 100 car break-ins in Kosciusko County have turned themselves in.

A Milford man accused of burglarizing a house, Johnny Lee Leer, 20, told the sheriff's department earlier this month that he and three others entered more than 100 unlocked cars in Milford, Syracuse, and the areas of Lake Wawasee, Warsaw and Winona Lake in the past several months, according to an earlier statement from the department.

In some instances when house keys were left in vehicles, they entered the houses as well, the department said. Police arrested Leer after he was identified as a suspect in a May 1 Milford burglary.

The three remaining suspects turned themselves in Wednesday on warrants issued by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor's Office:

  • Lynnae Bell, 19, of Warsaw.
  • Robert Allen Leer, 19, of Milford.
  • Gary David Jones, 20, of Milford.
Each was charged with felony burglary and bond was set at $20,000.
