Furnace parts maker expanding

The Journal Gazette

Heating system parts manufacturer Specialized Component Parts Ltd. Inc. plans to expand its operations in Auburn, creating 30 new jobs by 2012.

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation in Tuesday's announcement said the company will spend more than $2.6 million in machinery, equipment and building upgrades to expand at 1700 S. Indiana Ave.

SPC Ltd. makes heating element parts for residential and commercial furnaces, as well as a variety of pilot lights, relays, electrodes and hot surface igniters.
