Dunbar on expectations

The IU volleyball team was picked to finish 10th in the Big Ten last year. The Hoosiers ended up sixth (17-15 overall, 9-11 Big Ten). Coach Sherry Dunbar, in town for the IU coaches tailgate tour Wednesday, likes the direction the program is headed in. "We took over two years ago when the team was in 11th place and we're up to sixth," she said. "Our recruiting class was just ranked No. 22 in the country and that's going to help a great deal obviously if they transition it like we hope they do.

"The Big Ten is the toughest conference in the country. We just need to keep making those steps to move forward and understand it's not going to happen overnight. Every day we have to keep getting better."
