AT THE LIBRARY:

•The Allen County Public Library, 900 Library Plaza, will feature arts and crafts for teens during “Totally Terrific Tuesday” at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Young Adults’ Services. Youths can learn how to make “Candy Sushi” at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Young Adults’ Services.

•The Aboite branch, 5630 Coventry Lane, is letting children ages 6 to 11 make mud sculptures at 2 p.m. Thursday.

•The Pontiac branch, 2215 S. Hanna St., has “Sit and Stitch” for beginners at 4:30 p.m. every Thursday and “Sit and Stitch II” for the more advanced knitters at 6 p.m. every Tuesday.

•The Woodburn branch, 4701 Indiana 101 North, has a “Yarn Lovers Gathering” at 7 p.m. every Thursday.

LOCAL ARTIST HONORED: Bruce Nauman’s exhibition “Topological Gardens” is representing the U.S. in the 53rd International Art Exhibition “La Biennale di Venezia” in Venice, Italy, from Sunday to Nov. 22.

LOCAL AUTHOR PUBLISHED: Shane Wells Sr. has published “Fighting Back: The Long Road Home.” The book will be available for purchase at several area bookstores.

SCHOLARSHIP: Skyler E. Scott has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Roy Hine Performing Arts Foundation Inc.

POTTERY CLASS: “Play With Clay” will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Bisque It Pottery Painting Studio, 7605 Coldwater Road. The cost of the class is $10. Call 490-0506 for reservations.

ARTS CAMPS AND WORKSHOPS:

•The Firehouse Theater, 1245 E. State Blvd., is having the Fractured Fairy Tales Day Camp from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 15 to 19 for ages 5 to 14. The cost is $100 and there will be public performances June 20 and 21. Call 750-9013 for information.
