Alan Jackson will celebrate two decades in the music business with a free concert today in Nashville, Tenn.

“It’s just something we wanted to do,” he said. “We’ve got about 50 hits, so ... we’ll try to pick a few that the crowd might like.”

He’ll sing at the Cadillac Ranch. The show comes as thousands of fans pile in for the Country Music Association’s annual festival, which is six hours from Fort Wayne and runs Thursday through Sunday. This year’s lineup includes Trace Adkins, Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley and Reba McEntire.

Jackson has five tunes set for the next album, which he’ll start on this summer.

Insults hurled back

An Australian TV host said celeb chef Gordon Ramsay hurled insults and sexual references at her.

After an uneventful appearance by Ramsay on Tracy Grimshaw’s show Friday, the British chef went to a tasting event Saturday. Ramsay stunned the audience by insulting Grimshaw in her absence, calling her a lesbian and likening her to a pig. Ramsay repeated the insults Sunday and Monday at the same event. Later, he said he was only joking.

Grimshaw, though, failed to see the humor and called him an “arrogant narcissist” and a “bully.”
