When Hartley’s brings out the chocolate-dipped, marshmallow-and-white-chocolate-stuffed strawberries, you know summer is just around the corner.

That decadent dessert, served with an almond tuile cookie, is the last course of the restaurant’s current “lighter fare” dinner, available from 5 to 8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays until June 18.

Entrée choices are swordfish piccata with shallot and grapefruit sauce, stuffed chicken with rosemary-garlic sauce or veal-stuffed ravioli. All are served with roasted potatoes and sautéed zucchini, mushrooms and onions.

Salad choices are Caesar with lemon-pepper shrimp, or tomato, cucumber and red onion with Green Goddess dressing.

The dinners are $13.95, plus tax and gratuity.

Reservations are recommended at the restaurant, at 4301 Fairfield Ave.; call 744-3141.

In July, the popular “Tapas Tuesdays” dinners will return.
