NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

Notice is hereby given that the Allen County Council will consider a Resolution on June 18, 2009, at 8:30 a.m. at the City-County Building, Room 200, One East Main Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana to approve a Statement of Benefits (SB-1) for General Motors located at 12200 Lafayette Center Road. Although a public hearing is not required under State Law, the public will be allowed to comment on this matter at the Council meeting. Approval of the Resolution would have the effect of allowing General Motors to file with the Allen County Auditor for abatement of certain property taxes pursuant to I.C. 6-1.1-12.1.

Brian Dumford, who is the Human Resources Director for Allen County, has been designated to coordinate compliance with non-discrimination requirements contained in section 35.107 of the Department of Justice regulations.
