Four people were arrested overnight on drug charges after police were called to a domestic fight in the Silver Lake area.

Officers from the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department and Silver Lake Police Department were called to 9641 S. County Farm Road shortly before 10:45 p.m. Monday.

Police report finding items commonly used to make methamphetamine and immediately called the county Drug Task Force. Task force officers confirmed that there was an active meth lab in the home.

The following people were arrested by the task force on the following preliminary charges:

  • Justin Forrest Vining, 29, of South Lake Street, Warsaw, battery and felony manufacturing/dealing meth. Bond was set at $10,000
  • Tabitha Lynn Vining, 26, of the County Farm Road address, battery and felony manufacturing/dealing meth. Bond was set at $10,000
  • Ronald Lee Bailey, 30, of County Road 700 West in Silver Lake, felony manufacturing/dealing meth. Bond was set at $10,000
Police said a fourth man drove up to the residence and got out of his vehicle while the house was surrounded by police who were arresting the other three.

  • Brian Jason Caudill, 31, of County Road 300 East in Leesburg, was being held on a warrant for ephedrine restriction or violation of sale. Bond was set at $1,000.
The state restricts the sale of ephedrine because is can be used to make meth.

The Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab team was called to handle the methamphetamine lab.
