ACAC football games will start a half-hour earlier this season.

The ACAC moved the start of conference and non-conference games to 7 p.m. Games in the league started at 7:30 p.m. last season.

“The biggest thing to consider is to be consistent, that everybody plays at the same time,” Woodlan athletic director Denny Miesle said. “We play some non-conference games and some of those conferences play at (7 p.m.). It will help us be more consistent with the other schools we play.”

Miesle also said the change in start time will allow for more daylight and allow students to get home sooner after games, making it safer.

ACAC schools include Adams Central, Bluffton, Garrett, Heritage, Leo, South Adams, Southern Wells and Woodlan.
