One of the biggest surprises – and announcements – from Mayor Tom Henry’s State of the City address had little to do with city government at all.A section of the Rivergreenway between Hartman Road and Airport Expressway has reopened, the city of Fort Wayne has announced.
The section was closed for nearly a year during construction of a flood control project, the city said in a statement. Some restoration work continues this summer, the statement said, although paving is complete and the trail is in use.
