Bippus man dies as SUV crashes

A Bippus man died Sunday morning after he crashed his SUV and rolled it into a creek near the Wabash-Huntington county line Sunday morning.

Rod N. Sparks, 41, was eastbound on Indiana 113 in Wabash County just west of the Huntington County line when he lost control of his sport utility vehicle. It overturned and landed on its top in a creek, police said.

Sparks was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
