African Children’s Choir concert

The African Children’s Choir will perform at 7 p.m. Monday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 3705 S. Anthony Blvd. A freewill offering will be accepted.

Hearing-impaired service

Signing for the hearing impaired will be offered at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 4800 S. Calhoun St., at 10:45 a.m. Sunday.

‘Keep on the Watch’ convention

Jehovah’s Witnesses will be inviting the community to the “Keep on the Watch” convention Friday through July 19 at the SeaGate Convention Centre, Toledo. The free event is one of 319 conventions scheduled throughout the country.

St. John church anniversary

St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 2421 S. Hanna St., will observe its 84th anniversary at 3:30 p.m. Sunday with Pastor Luther Whitfield and the New Covenant Worship Center.

Taize service

A Taize meditation and worship service will be at 5 p.m. Sunday at Crescent Avenue United Methodist Church, 1232 Crescent Ave.

Vacation Bible school
