5 questions

Notre Dame nose tackle Ian Williams was kind enough to be the first Irish athlete to be part of a five questions feature, which I hope to make a weekly feature on Irish Insights.

The five questions will appear every Monday morning, with the same questions asked to various athletes at Notre Dame.

Let me know who you want to answer the questions, and if you have a suggestion for what I should ask the athletes let me know by e-mail at tkrausz@jg.net.

Now let's get into the questions with Williams, who is entering his junior season and is listed as the starting nose tackle on the preseason depth chart.

Q: If you could trade places with one of your teammates which one would you trade places with?

A: Good question. Actually, I would say nobody. I like my situation right now.

Q: If you were not playing football, what would you put most of your energy into right now?

A: I would probably be at a community college back home (Altamonte Springs, Fla.), working some where. My major is (Film, Television and Theatre). So hopefully, I would be doing something in that.

Q: What do you do better than anybody else on your team?

A: I know since NCAA '10 came out, nobody can beat me at that.

Q: If you could have superpower, what superpower would you want and why?

A: I would want to be able to fly or time travel. Flying is that Superman type of power, and with time traveling, I have read a lot about history in classes and it would be interesting to see what those events were like first hand.

Q: What is one thing that people should know about you that they don't?

A: I know every song to the "Lion King" by heart. Just the first movie.
