Six DeKalb County residents were arrested Monday in connection with illegal purchases of the decongestant drugs pseudoephedrine and ephedrine.
Auburn police investigated the purchases with the help of the DeKalb County Sheriffs Department, Waterloo police, prosecutors and the Indiana Department of Child Services. The drugs are commonly used to make methamphetamine.
Those arrested were Carl Evanoff, 28, of Garrett; Kristin Prater, 28, of Corunna; Lyle Schwartz, 19, of Waterloo; Arthur Gibson, 32, of Waterloo; Curtis Parker, 32, of Waterloo; and Amy Hunter, 28, of Auburn.
Six Noble County residents were expected to be arrested as part of the investigation, police said.
