5 questions with Irish halfback Armando Allen

Notre Dame junior halfback Armando Allen answered the five questions this week. Let me know if you want the replaced question to return and who you want to answer the questions. And if you have a suggestion for what I should ask the athletes, let me know by e-mail at tkrausz@jg.net.

Now onto Allen's answers:

Q: If you could trade places with one of your teammates, which one would you trade places with?

A: (Right tackle) Sam Young. He's like 7 feet (actually Young measures out at 6-foot-8 and 320 pounds). He can look down on everybody (because of his height), and I think that is pretty cool.

Q: What do you do better than anybody else on your team?

A: I would say free style (rap).

(He declined to provide an example.)

Q: If you could have superpower, what superpower would you want?

A: My superpower would be to create money because, believe it or not, money makes the world go 'round.

Q: Who do you hang out with the most on the team?

A: Brian Smith (Allen was Smith's answer to this question). The combination we have together is outstanding. We have a great friendship. We will be lifetime friends.

Q: What is one thing that people should know about you that they don't?

A: I'm a family person. I love my family.
