A Williams County, Ohio, 4-year-old died over the Labor Day weekend in a drowning accident, the sheriff’s office said Wednesday.

Joshua W. Wodarski-Felt of Edon was found in a farm pond shortly before 9 p.m. Sunday at 07125 County Road I, in rural Edon.

Family members pulled him from the pond and performed CPR until emergency medical services arrived. He was flown to a Fort Wayne hospital, where he died.

The Allen County coroner’s office ruled Wednesday the death was an accident.
