Kylie Bigham of Fort Wayne will appear in a Times Square video Sept. 26 as part of the National Down Syndrome Societys video production. The photo of Kylie on her first day of preschool last year was selected from 2,500 entries nationwide. The video shows people with Down syndrome working and playing with friends and family.
Two area homeowners will receive home energy makeovers to help lower their high energy bills. Several Indiana electric cooperatives, including Northeastern REMC, will transform the Baryo home in Churubusco and the Loe home in Larwill on Wednesday.
