Notre Dame senior right tackle Smith answered the five questions this week.
Let me know if you want the replaced question to return and who you want to answer the questions. And if you have a suggestion for what I should ask the athletes, let me know by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: If you could trade places with one of your teammates, which one would you trade places with?
A: Let's go with Rudy (tight end Kyle Rudolph). I already know everything he is does pretty much, and he gets to catch the ball and looks good doing it. Who wouldn't want to be able to run down the field?
Q: What do you do better than anybody else on your team?
A: I'm going to go with fishing. Any time we've gone fishing, I've done pretty well.
Q: If you could have superpower, what superpower would you want?
A: Fly. You can save on gas.
Q: Who do you hang out with the most on the team?
A: Probably (junior offensive tackle) Tayler Dever and (senior wide receiver) Barry Gallup Jr. It's kind of a hard question. The offensive line pretty much all hangs out together.
Q: What is one thing that people should know about you that they don't?
A: I'm addicted to mine sweeper. I just bought a computer and I'm always playing it. Also, my first car was a '92 Volvo that my dad illegal adjusted the front seat. (I know that's two things, but you don't tell a 6-foot-8, 320-pound man he has to pick one.)
