International Hockey League commissioner Dennis Hextall confirmed the much-rumored shakeup in the Flint Generals' management.
Travis Prince, who had been publicized as the majority owner, is taking a back seat. Brandon Bordeaux is now the owner/governor of the team that has seen so much turmoil, including players not getting paid, in recent years.
However, according to Hextall and other IHL officials I spoke with, it shouldn't be perceived as bad news for Generals fans. I was told that the financing is still there for the team and that Prince will still have a role, just more in the background.
As for the Generals' roster, it looks OK so far: Click here.
