Flags fly at half-staff for firefighters

In observance of the Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service, held in Emmitsburg, Md., all United States flags at Fort Wayne government buildings and fire stations will be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset Sunday, according to fire department officials.

The memorial ceremony will honor 122 firefighters nationwide who died in the line of duty in 2008, along with those who have died in years prior while serving.
