Of this much, we can be sure.
The Fort Wayne Komets aren't afraid to drop the gloves and fight. Six times they've done it in this exhibition game against the Muskegon Lumberjacks.
They have some speed, which they've demonstrated in the waning minutes of the second period, with one odd-man rush after another.
And we know that Konstantin Shafranov can shoot the puck. He put Fort Wayne ahead 2-1 at 13:50 of the second period, when he got to the rebound of a P.C. Drouin shot that ricocheted off the post. Shafranov fired a nifty shot, far-side and low that completely bewildered goalie Matt Lundin.
There's been a lot of excitement in tonight's game.
As I type that, we have a seventh fight -- Colin Chaulk, of all people, against Justin DaCosta. Chaulk gets the win.
