U.S. 6 closure scheduled

U.S. 6 is scheduled to close in Butler at the Norfolk Southern Railroad crossing beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

The crossing just east of Indiana 1 will be closed through 9 p.m. Oct. 23, weather permitting, the Indiana Department of Transportation's Fort Wayne District announced Tuesday

The detour will use DeKalb County Road 71, County Road 24 and Indiana 1.
