No suspensions for Bray or MacMillan

But they will be fined for postgame fracas

After the completion of the Komets' 5-4 loss at Port Huron, Mich., on Saturday night, there was a fight between Fort Wayne's Brad MacMillan and the Icehawks' Mike Bray.

The International Hockey League's vice president of hockey operations, Brad Jones, has deemed no suspensions will be handed out. Why? There is nothing conclusive on videotape of what caused the fracas.

Jones does plan to fine both players.

Both teams have made allegations as to what started the fight. The Icehawks claim that MacMillan taunted the bench. The Komets allege that Bray speared MacMillan.

Without video evidence, Jones said the appropriate judgment is to fine the players. Both received fighting majors and game misconducts, Jones said, though they didn't show up on the Pointstreak boxes on the internet.
