A motorcycle rider was flown to a Fort Wayne hospital Wednesday night after the 1992 Kawasaki hit a deer north of Fort Wayne.
The Allen County Sheriff’s Department said David W. Grush was going east in the 6400 block of Hosler Road about 9:25 p.m. when the motorcycle hit the deer that was crossing the road.
Grush was flown to Parkview Hospital in serious condition and has send bee upgraded to fair condition, according to a written statement from the sheriff’s department. It said his passenger, Vanessa J. Grush, had minor abrasions.
The statement did not say where the Grushes are from.
