AT THE LIBRARY:

LOCAL ARTIST NEWS:

•Audrey Ushenko, professor of fine arts at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, has finished her latest project: a painting of the children of Immanuel Lutheran School in Valparaiso. A downloadable photo of the painting can be found at bit.ly/ushenkoMural.

•Yukti A. Singh, an IPFW alumna, has published her novel “Two Possibilities: ‘A Journey We Traveled Alone.’ ” The book is available at Amazon.com.

•Three Huntington University students have had work accepted into the Chicago International Children’s Film Festival. Jimi Bonogofsky and Colleen Thornbrugh’s animated film “I Think I Might Be” and Johnathan Roatch’s “Aqua Melodies” were the works accepted.

TATTOO YOUR STYLE: Beth Wheeler will show how to tattoo T-shirts and jeans from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Sozo Art Studio, 113 South Main St., Kendallville. The cost of the class is $40 and participants need to bring their own T-shirt or jeans. For information, call 260-347-5000.
