A first look at Iowa

The Hawkeyes are No. 4 in the BCS standings. Iowa is 8–0 for the first time after defeating Michigan State with a touchdown on the last play of the game.

Iowa quarterback Ricky Stanzi is fifth in the conference, averaging 214.4 passing yards per game. Stanzi has 12 touchdowns and eight interceptions.

Running back Adam Robinson ranks fourth in the Big Ten, averaging 78.6 rushing yards. Robinson has five touchdowns.

The Hawkeyes, like IU, are averaging 23.6 points per game. Iowa is ranked No. 14 nationally in scoring defense, giving up 14.8 points per game. Iowa is 17th in pass defense, giving up 174.2 yards per game.
