A former Howe Military School principal and candidate for public office has been charged for the second time in just over three months, this time accused of having "numerous images of child pornography" on his personal computer.
Following his arrest in July on charges of sexual misconduct with a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and child seduction involving a 14-year-old male student the Criminal Investigation Division of the Indiana State Police in Fort Wayne continued its investigation of Andrew J. Majewski, 37, of Howe,
In that investigation, conducted by Detective Jeff Boyd and Master Trooper Dale Reber, Majewski’s computer was seized with the assistance of the LaGrange County Sheriff Department.
A forensic review by Indiana State Police Cyber Crime Unit found the pornography, state police said Thursday in a written statement.
Majewski turned himself in to the LaGrange County Jail early Wednesday afternoon after a warrant was issued. He has been charged with three felony counts of possession of child pornography.
Majewski had been with the school since 2003, most recently principal for sixth- through eighth-graders at the private college preparatory school and was a varsity soccer coach. Majewski was suspended this summer pending resolution of the charges.
In addition to his role at Howe, Majewski ran unsuccessfully for Lima Township trustee in 2006.
