Saints' shutout streak continues

The Bishop Dwenger defense continues to be stingy.

With a 28-0 win over Northridge on Friday in the Class 4A sectional semifinals, the Saints have now shut out their last five opponents.

Prior to that, it has been 56-0 over Elmhurst, 10-0 over Snider, 62-0 against Luers and 54-0 vs. DeKalb.

It is the first five shutouts of the season. Dwenger has a good chance at No. 6 next Friday when the Saints play host to Columbia City (4-7).

The last time the Saints were this good on defense was when they had four straight shutouts and seven overall in 2006.
