Hoosiers find a way to lose

Yes, there was questionable officiating.

And Tyler Sash's 86-yard interception return for a touchdown, which bounced off four players before landing in his hands, is something you'll never likely see again.

But Indiana has only itself to blame for the 42-24 loss at Iowa Saturday.

For the second straight week, the Hoosiers couldn't hold a double-digit lead. And for the second straight week, IU couldn't take advantage of turnovers.

Indiana intercepted five passes, but still found a way to lose.

Iowa outscored the Hoosiers 28-0 in the fourth quarter. The Hawkeyes finally found the holes in IU's banged up secondary and hit the Hoosiers with touchdown passes of 92 and 66 yards to go ahead for good.

Indiana blew a 25-point lead last week at Northwestern. The Hoosiers couldn't hang on to a 10-point lead going into the fourth quarter Saturday against the Hawkeyes.

This has officially become the season of "what-ifs."
