It may be a new season with new players stepping into new roles, but the Notre Dame men's basketball team had a familiar looking box score after its 70-54 exhibition victory over Lewis on Sunday.
Luke Harangody dominated again for Notre Dame, scoring 33 on 15-of-25 shooting and pulling down a team-high nine rebounds in the first game in the new Purcell Pavilion.
One change in the box score was the Irish's starting lineup featuring three guards. Jonathan Peoples, Tory Jackson and Ben Hansbrough started with Tyrone Nash filling out the starting lineup at forward.
Hansbrough, who sat out last season after transferring from Mississippi State, scored 12, had seven rebounds (all defensive) and added three assists. Jackson had a team-high seven assists and added seven points, and Peoples scored eight. Nash had six points and five rebounds.
