The record-breaking rushing career of Harding senior running back Rod Smith came to a close Friday with little fanfare.

The Ohio State recruit finishes with a a school- and SAC-best 6,625 career yards.
He ends up No. 2 in northeast Indiana, behind ex-Heritage standout Brandon Robinson's 7,303.

He had 1,000 carries, which could be a school record as well.
