6 arrested in 2 LaGrange drug raids

Six people faced charges Sunday after police found methamphetamine in two separate LaGrange raids.

Acting on a tip, IMAGE Drug Task Force members, along with the LaGrange County Sheriff's Department and LaGrange police, raided 410 S. Detroit St. on Sunday.

Officers found several grams of methamphetamine, a significant quantity of marijuana, prescription narcotics and cash, according to the LaGrange County Sheriff's Department. Officers also found evidence of the distribution of a controlled substance.

Brandon L. Wicker, 28, of Albion, and Melissa Case, 25, of Wabash, are each charged with possession of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school, maintaining a common nuisance and four counts of possession of a controlled substance, all felonies. They also face a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana.

A second drug raid occurred at 216 E. Spring St., Apt. 3. There officers found methamphetamine, three discarded methamphetamine labs, marijuana and cash.

Orvan Lambert, 27, and Porbert Patric, 41, both of LaGrange, each face felony charges of dealing methamphetamine, possession of precursors, possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance. They also face a misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana.

Kristine M. Caudill, 27, of Howe, faces a felony count of possession of marijuana and a misdemeanor charge of visiting a common nuisance.

A sixth person was arrested for visiting a common nuisance, a misdemeanor.
