An H1N1 flu clinic has been scheduled in Wells County this week.
There will be a clinic from 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at New Hope Lutheran Church, 8824 North Indiana 1 in Ossian, county officials said in an e-mail.
No appointment is necessary, and the vaccine will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.
Allen County
Where: Carew Medical Park, 1818 Carew St., Suite 300 When: 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday
What: H1N1 injection
Who: Ages 6 months to 18; adults who care for children younger than 6 months; pregnant women
- No one with a fever can receive the injection
Who: Healthy children and young adults ages 2 to 24 years; adults who care for children younger than 6 months
- Children younger than 10 must receive two doses to be fully protected
- If a child has received any live vaccines in the past 28 days, such as MMR, chickenpox or the seasonal flu mist, the child cannot be given the nasal spray.
What: Thimerosal-free H1N1 injection
Who: Pregnant women only
Steuben County
Where: Multipurpose Room, Steuben County Community Center, 317 S. Wayne St., Angola
When: Noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday
Who: Ages 6 months to 35 months; adult caregivers of infants younger than 6 months
What: H1N1 injection.
When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 7
Who: Ages 3 to 17 years
