Indiana opens the season with an exhibition Wednesday against Grace. The game begins at 7 p.m. at Assembly Hall and can be seen on There is a $2.99 fee to access the game.

Grace went 22-11 last season and made the NAIA Elite Eight. The Lancers return three starters.

"They came out last year with 20-plus wins, which is always an accomplishment. They are very good, very disciplined," IU guard Matt Roth said. "We are going to have to come out and play a physical and aggressive game ourselves.

"This prepares you for the season. It's an opportunity to go out there, take the floor and play an actual game. We've had a couple of great scrimmages. Now we are ready to play somebody who is not wearing our own practice jerseys.

"We want to get a better feel for how things will go. We have a lot of new guys who this is going to be their first game. I think we are ready to have that experience, get it under our belts and move on."
