What are the key challenges facing your business or industry: The industry is changing because of the Internet. The challenge is finding a balance between supporting the Internet-savvy shopper at the same time the staff supports customers in the store, McGregor said.

What are your growth projections for the next five years: “We’ve been growing about 10 percent to 20 percent a year. I would hope we can keep doing that,” McGregor said.

What’s one thing about your business people may not be aware of: The business sells yarns made of wool from sheep in Michigan and fiber from alpacas in Indiana and Ohio. It also supports tatters and machine knitters.
